Constellation Energy announced in April 2010, an agreement to develop a new 1.8-megawatt (DC) solar photovoltaic power system at the McCormick distribution center in Belcamp, Md. This will be the largest single rooftop solar installation in Maryland, and is the second solar installation developed for McCormick by Constellation Energy.

Thomas W. Hicks, Deputy Assistant Secretary, US Navy for Energy
The US Navy has created a new office for Renewable Energy at the Executive Level. Thomas Hicks was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy in March 2010. Mr. Hicks serves as the Secretariat focal point on all matters pertaining to the Department of Navy’s energy conservation, energy efficiency, energy sources, and green initiatives.

Whole Foods is the 9th largest food and drug store company in the US. In January 2006, Whole Foods made a landmark purchase of renewable energy credits to offset 100% of the electricity used in all of its stores, facilities, bakehouses, distribution centers, regional offices and national headquarters in the United States and Canada. Whole Foods Market is the only Fortune 500 Company purchasing wind energy credits to offset 100% of its electricity use. Mr. Smallwood or "Coach" as he is well known by his nickname, is responsible for improving the environmental footprint of 30 stores in 6 states, a large commissary, a distribution center and a seafood facility totally over 1.5 million square feet. Mark’s current projects include diverting waste from the landfills, reducing packaging, and energy efficiency to name a few.
Commissioner Tyrone J. Christy, Vice Chairman, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission
Vice Chairman Christy was nominated to serve on the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission by Governor Edward G. Rendell, and was confirmed by the Senate of Pennsylvania in June 27, 2007. He was elected Vice Chairman by his colleagues on August 20, 2008. He also serves on the Organization of PJM States Inc. (OPSI) Board of Directors. He serves on the Advisory Committee which interacts with PJM’s Independent Market Monitor. In addition to OPSI he serves on the Organization of MISO States Board of Directors.
