AFREC promotes collaborations with industry to overcome technical, economic, and social barriers to commercial utilization of alternative fuels.  Our  members are referred by other members or are specifically selected for member invitation because of the products, services, initiatives or other innovations that they bring to the Council on behalf of the commercialization of alternative energy and preserving or creating profitability.

Develop an open, vibrant market for innovative energy technologies, both stationary and transportation and to reduce our nation’s dependency on conventional imported fuels and promote a safer, cleaner environment.
